Payment Options
No matter what the situation we will do everything we can to help.

No family should have to go into debt to pay for a funeral service. Rather than take out a funeral payment loan please talk to us and see what we can do.
​
We are happy to accept payment from the solicitor dealing with your loved one's estate or a payment from a bank account.
No restrictions on our funerals means you can keep the costs down
We do not restrict a families choices so much that they are forced to upgrade
We do not impose restrictions on families for attended funeral services. You can always visit your loved one & choose the date and time of the service

You are free to add any service or additional item and only ever pay the cost of that item.
Help from the Government is available
Government help and the Funeral Expenses Payment
If you are applying for the Government Funeral Expenses Payment, we will help and support you in arranging a funeral.
​
We will only ask for payment of any items not covered by the Funeral Expenses Payment before the funeral so you can proceed with the arrangements as normal. All we ask is that the claim is applied for prior to the funeral.
We do not charge for children's funerals
A child's funeral service can be completely free of charge
As funeral directors we do not charge any professional fees for a child under the age of 18 years or a still born baby after the 24th week of pregnancy.

Torbay Cemetery & Crematorium currently do not charge for under 18's for:
Cremation Fees
Burial Plot or Interment Fees (designated areas of the cemetery)
​
If you want to choose a different coffin the Children's Funeral Fund can cover up to £300.
​
The Children’s Funeral Fund for England can help pay for the:
Burial fees*
Cremation fees, including the cost of a doctor’s certificate
coffin, shroud or casket (up to a cost of £300)
​
Please note this is all the Children's Funeral Fund will cover they do not cover things like:
Flowers
Alternative Vehicles
Stationery
Headstones or Tablets
